Hey, guys.

Last night, I saw an unbelievably good film called The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I can't tell you too much about the plot because it's mostly spoilers, but suffice it to say, guys, this is a fantastic movie.

Everything about it is amazing. The casting, the score, the locations. All of it. The plot is well measured- it's well constructed without hurling too much information at you at once. Cinematography. Characters.

I am going to issue the same warning I know everyone else is going to give you, though: There are some incredibly disturbing scenes in this movie. I wouldn't recommend you see it if you aren't able to cope with violence on screen, especially violence against women.

Speaking as an ardent feminist, I still believe that these parts were important to the movie. You feel hatred, and terror, and anger, and helplessness. It's almost like your anger pulls you into the plot like a net. An emotional investment. Perhaps this is just due to the way in which I become immersed in movies as I watch them, or the fact that I have some very close friends who have been sexually assaulted, but... when I watched this movie, the desire to kill those bastards was the strongest thing I felt.

That's an excellent movie, if you ask me.

So.

Here's the link to the trailer. It will be worth your time.
